Lantana Foods is as vibrant and unconventional as the city it calls home—Austin, TX. Known for its unique, flavorful spreads like Sriracha Carrot Hummus, Lantana needed a website that could celebrate its colorful personality while providing essential product details and enhancing brand recognition. Our team crafted a modern, user-friendly digital experience that showcases Lantana’s bold flavors, elevates its playful brand identity, and sets it apart from competitors.

After a major product rebrand, Lantana Foods needed a website that could:

  • Reflect the brand’s playful personality and bold, colorful aesthetic.

  • Showcase their unique and unconventional flavors.

  • Provide helpful product information, including nutrition facts, allergens, and sizes.

  • Include a “deliciousness finder” to help customers locate their favorite hummus flavors.

The challenge was to create an engaging platform that combined functionality with a distinctive voice and visual identity, celebrating the brand’s Austin roots while appealing to a national audience.

Our work began with a three-hour client workshop, during which we conducted content and brand exercises to define Lantana’s audience, create personas, and develop a clear website structure. These exercises ensured that every aspect of the website aligned with the brand’s goals and customer needs.

Lantana’s bright hues, bold patterns, and playful personality were central to the design. We leveraged these elements to craft a modern, vibrant, and user-friendly experience that set the brand miles apart from its competitors. The website design emphasized:

  • Product Pages: Highlighting the unique combination of ingredients in each flavor while making nutrition facts, allergens, and product sizes easily accessible.

  • Playful Voice: Incorporating Lantana’s quirky personality through content such as “hummus haikus,” flavor-centric poems designed for social sharing to create buzz and engagement.

  • Austin Roots: Showcasing the brand’s proud Austin heritage with design elements and messaging that celebrated being bold, unconventional, and unapologetically unique.

The website also included a “deliciousness finder,” allowing users to easily locate their favorite flavors in stores near them—a functional tool designed to drive conversions.
