Rogelio’s is a beloved family-owned Mexican restaurant in San Marcos, TX, known for its warm atmosphere and flavorful dishes. While the restaurant had a loyal following, its branding no longer reflected its vibrant personality. We set out to create a fresh, memorable brand identity that honored its roots while bringing a modern, cohesive look to all its touchpoints.


the problem

Rogelio’s had been a staple of the San Marcos community for years, but its outdated branding didn’t capture the spirit of the restaurant or its flavorful offerings. The owners needed a stronger, more consistent identity that could translate across collateral without losing the authenticity and charm of the restaurant’s heritage


the solution

Drawing inspiration from Rogelio’s casual, festive atmosphere and colorful decor, we developed a refreshed brand that balanced tradition with a modern twist. The new identity included:

  • Logo Design: A bold, approachable mark that celebrates Rogelio’s Mexican roots and community connection.

  • Color Palette: A vibrant mix of hues inspired by the restaurant’s decor, bringing the warmth and energy of a fiesta to every design.

  • Design Elements: Patterns and accents that evoke a sense of celebration, tying the brand together across multiple touchpoints.

The new branding was applied consistently to a variety of collateral, including menus, business cards, and social media posts. These materials not only strengthened the restaurant’s visual identity but also created a cohesive experience for customers.

The refreshed branding positioned Rogelio’s as a modern yet authentic dining destination in San Marcos. From the vibrant logo to the colorful collateral, the new look-and-feel reflects the restaurant’s unique personality and has been enthusiastically embraced by the owners and community alike.

Since the rebrand, the restaurant’s designer and owner’s wife, Alex Galley, has continued to evolve the brand, applying its signature style to new deliverables and expanding its presence across all channels.
